The award was obtained Egy in the Gdansk Sports Gala event which is an annual award for athletes in the city of Gdansk precisely at the Gdansk Energa Stadium on Wednesday (12/18/2019) evening local time.

Lechia coach Piotr Stokowiec has entered Egy’s name seven times in the list of players in the Ekstraklasa competition this season. In fact, Egy was once believed to be down as a major player.

The historic moment was felt by Egy when Lechia faced a heavy opponent Wisla Krakow in the second week of Ekstraklasa. He played for 45 minutes in a match that ended goallessly.
