Iqbaal When Winning an Award at IFFA Macau 2018

There is no end if we talk about the achievements of the Indonesians, now the proud news comes from the 2018 International Film Festival & Awards (IFFA) event which takes place at the Macau Cultural Center, Macau, China. The Dilan 1990 film player managed to bring home the award in the Asian Stars category: Up Next Awards by Variety Magazine. The nomination is given to young Asian artists who are talented in their fields. In that category, Iqbaal Ramadhan competes with five young stars from other countries. He competes with four other Asian celebrity names, such as Zaira Wasim (India), Zheng Kai (China), Anna Curtis (Philippines) and Xana Tang (New Zealand).

This proud news was first shared by the Instagram account @maxpictures on Friday (12/14). In his post, the owner of the original name Iqbaal Dhiafakhri Ramadhan looks dashing with a black suit, posing on the award’s red carpet.

Iqbaal Ramadhan himself was seen sharing some of his photos while attending the event on his Instagram. With English, this former Coboy Junior personnel expressed his pride. He also presented the trophy that he got to all Indonesian filmmakers.

 

“Little is my hope that I will get this big award as an actor. As I said on stage, this is for young, talented, and intelligent filmmakers and fans in Indonesia. You know who you are,” wrote Iqbaal Ramadhan in his photo caption.

 

Iqbaal Ramadhan is an Indonesian actor and singer. He is a member of the first male vocal group, CJR which was before February 23, 2014, named Coboy Junior and the second member, Project Jr. 8 since 2017. In addition to working with the vocal group CJR and Project Jr. 8, Iqbaal Dhiafakhri Ramadhan personally has produced two mini albums namely Songs For SoniQ I (2013) and Songs For SoniQ II (2014). Besides Untitled Song (US) written in 2013, Iqbal recently wrote a new song entitled Semesta and is planned to be released on the mini album Songs For SoniQ III, this year. The Iqbaal fan community is known as SoniQ (friend of Iqbaal). With SoniQ, Iqbaal has produced 3 mini albums Songs From SoniQ 2013, Songs From SoniQ 2014, and Songs From SoniQ 2015.

Surely this proud achievement achieved by one of Indonesia’s talented young talents can be an inspiration to make young people and generations of Indonesia compete to score achievements and make Indonesia proud in the eyes of the world.
