Feeling the tension in an action film is certainly an interesting experience for movie lovers, ranging from fighting scenes, explosions, collisions, and even conflict conversations between antagonists and protagonists who might become casual and exciting conversations when gathering with the closest fellow movie lovers. But how does it feel when we ourselves experience scene after scene of an action film that we often witness? Maybe this is what will be felt by experienced Indonesian actors Yayan Ruhiyan and Cecep Arif Rahman.
Yayan Ruhian and Cecep Arif Rahman got a direct offer by director Chad Stahelski to compete with Keanu Reeves in the 3rd sequel to the film John Wick. Their action can be seen in the latest trailer “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum” which was released on YouTube some time ago.
In the trailer, it looks Yayan and Cecep compactly attacking the main star in the film, John Wick, played by a senior Hollywood actor, Keanu Reeves.
Yayan and Cecep both put up horses when they wanted to attack John Wick. Yayan looked at Wick with a serious look, while Cecep got ready while grinning. Not long ago, one of the United States news agencies, IGN, had the opportunity to witness first-hand the process behind the scenes, aka behind the scene of the film “John Wick 3”. Through a YouTube video titled “How to Kick Ass Like John Wick”, IGN captures the fighting process in the film.
In the video, it is clearly seen how Yayan and Cecep show off traditional martial arts choreography actions. In one snippet, Yayan’s neck was twisted by a rope, but he could easily get out of it.
Yayan and Cecep’s actions turned out to be praised directly by the main actor who also existed in that location. In a brief conversation with IGN, Reeves stated that he was a fan of martial arts artists and action actors. “I am a big fan of them, martial arts artists, and action actors. The characters they bring to the fight are really great,” he said in the video.
The plan is the latest film from the John Wick film series will be released in mid-May 2019 later.
