Indonesia returned to the attention of the world after one of the largest oil companies in Indonesia won a prestigious award in the field of HR management, namely EFMD – Excellence in Practice (EIP) Gold Award in the Talent Development category. The award is a manifestation of the development of the Catalyser Program conducted by PT Pertamina Persero. Catalyser program that lasts for 2 years is a series of accelerated talent development programs through blended learning methods. Among them through international experience, project assignments, experiential learning (experiential learning), and coaching and mentoring by Senior Leaders.
Pertamina HR Director Koeshartanto said, Catalyser is the biggest leadership capability development acceleration program in the Southeast Asia region, which aims to prepare the best talent in the Pertamina Group while filling the company’s strategic leadership position within the next 4-5 years. The development of the Catalyser program by Pertamina is carried out in collaboration with world-class partners such as Deloitte and INSEAD. “In addition, Pertamina is also working with Tjitra & Associates and Bob Aubrey Associates as Senior Advisors who are experienced in their fields,” explained Koeshartanto.
Koeshartanto added, the effectiveness of the Catalyser Program was measured through increased competence and participant involvement in strategic projects, talent mobility (movement of participants to strategic positions), leadership capabilities, and personal development.
Pertamina President Director Nicke Widyawati also said, at the national level the Catalyser program participants had played an important role in government policy and national energy management. “Participants in the Catalyser program also play a key role and contribute significantly to international projects,” he said in a press release received by Kontan.co.id, Friday (5/29).
He added, key stakeholders in principle fully support the positive impact of the Catalyser program in preparing the future leaders of Pertamina to face challenges in the energy sector.
