100 calendar of event wonderful 2019

Tourism is one source of income or foreign exchange from each country. Maximizing tourism potential is also one of the strategies of each country to invite tourists to visit and enjoy domestic tourism and keep an unforgettable holiday impression. Recently the Indonesian tourism ministry announced the best tourist attractions in Indonesia through its official page in charm. Everything is summarized in an event calendar spread throughout Indonesia, 100 2019 Calendar of Events (CoE).


This year, the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism (Kemenpar) carries the theme of The Winner: Wonderful Indonesia Energy. This theme was deliberately raised as the foundation of the spirit and strategy to be a winner. The hope is to achieve extraordinary results, namely 20 million foreign tourist arrivals during 2019.


In order to follow the trend of the digital millenial tour, the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism released the 2019 CoE. According to Minister Arief, its existence proved to be effective in promoting a destination or event that was viral and visited by many people.

The CoE 2019 preparation involves six people who are competent in their fields. Some of them are Special Staff (Stafsus) Minister of Tourism for Media and Communication, Taufik Rahzen, who gives an assessment of media value event; Menpar Staffs for Communication, Don Kardono; Taufik Rahzen who assesses cultural value; Denny Malik; Dynand Fariz; Jacky Mussry who values ​​commercial value; and Eko “PeCe” Supriyanto who is the choreographer of the opening ceremony of the 2018 Asian Games.


According to CoE 2019 Chief Executive Esthy Reko Astuti, the selected event must have creative value, commercial value, communication value, and CEO Commitment. The program must also have a direct influence on the socio-economic conditions of the community and increase media value towards the regional image.

“The selected event has been held continuously (3-4 consecutive years) and has a regional distribution (proportional). What is certain is on time, there is no change in the implementation date,” said Reko.

This year’s event will be held thoroughly in the Indonesian region, from the coast to the mountains. Not only shows the natural beauty of Indonesia but also cultural diversity.
